Born Thursday, May 18, 1944 in Trimble, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Ed Sharp and the late Agnes McElroy Sharp. She was a retired employee of the Dyer County Health Department and member of the Free Holiness Church.Funeral services for Mrs. Anderson were on Monday, August 14, 2017 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service was Rev. Calvin Smith, Rev. Steven Speers and Rev. Brent Pierce. Interment followed in Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery.She is survived by two sons, Scott Thorpe (Kelly) of Newbern, Tennessee and Tim Thorpe of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Debbie Byrd (Mike) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Don Anderson; one step-daughter, Jerrianne Ferris and one sister, Barbara Quillen.Pallbearers will be John Thorpe, Jeff Thorpe, Jake Thorpe, David Thorpe, John Harris and Gerald Burns.
